Happy New Year! May 2012 be a year full of joy and happiness for everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been OT-ing for the whole week, even during Christmas I was working from home.
Anyway, I will like to thank all of the people that has supported Under-Twenty20! Thank you for your patience and forgiveness when mistakes were made. We promise to work even harder in 2012 and provide better service to serve all of you =)
On a personal note, my new year resolution for 2012 will be to save more money and work less. 2011 has been a tiring year for me being a student, teaching tuition, maintaining my blogshop and being a dental assistant part time. OT-ing during the audit internship teaches me that I should treasure my short university life because money can be earned later. So, 2012 will be a year for me to relax before I get out into the corporate world and be a no-life auditor.
With all that said, have a good holiday everyone! I will be back with more posts next week =D

A complimentary letter...
Was having a shitty day but was greeted with SUPER EXCELLENT customer service at The Soup Spoon! So, I decided to write a complimentary letter to them...
I am impressed because I only encountered this type of service overseas. I have been in the customer service line for about 4 years and sometimes, I feel cynical about our very own society. It is sad to say that Singaporeans generally do not give compliments and take things for granted. They never appreciate when someone went the extra mile to serve them with a smile. It then become a viscous cycle and in the end, all of us suffer and get lousy customer service...
Anyway, I hope that The Soup Spoon get this letter so they can reward the guy or something so that it will brighten up his day too. =)

You wouldn't have guessed what I have just bought...
I have been lusting over this item for a few months now. It has always been on the back of my head but I never purchase it because it is super difficult to find in Singapore and that is the Keruig Coffee Maker. This is really famous in US!
I was on a work-and-travel trip in USA 2 years ago and one day, my friends and I walked into this book store. There's the Keruig on the table that served free coffee and all the owner request is to enjoy the drink while browsing their books. (SO NICE RIGHT? I KNOW!!!)
So, I browsed the carousel:
and perhaps this:
This is like the best variety box that I can find which gives you a piece or two of every flavours but I have never heard of this brand called Timothy's -.-
I'm going to ask my mum tomorrow what she like and maybe the k-cups can arrive before Feb =)
Anyone drank hot apple cider before? I want to get this but it only comes in order of 24

and ended up with:
Ok, I admit, one reason why I choose this is because I am an avid tea drinker. And the name Bigelow reminds me of the awesome C.O.Bigelow lipgloss, plus the fact that it was difficult to find green tea in US then.
Anyway, I follow the step-by-step procedure on how to operate the machine (it was just becoming popular in US back then) and VOLIA! I end up with an AWESOME cup of green tea! You will have think that we asians can make better green tea compared to the americans but the green tea that I drank there is one of the nicest that I ever drank in my life!
I even keep the used K-cup because I love the smell of the green tea leaves and I want to have it as a souvenir to remember the awesome book store. (But I threw it away 2 weeks later because it grew mould -.-)
So, that was a memory 2 years ago but it was constantly revisited whenever I watched Youtube gurus like allthatglitters21, juicystar07 and missglamorazzi who raved about their Keruig and how they love it. The Physicist in me rationalised that the voltage and power wouldn't work. (you will need a transformer/converter and I heard that it is expensive to buy in Singapore) Plus, I know how expensive it is to ship goods from US to Singapore and there is no way I will pay $200+ for a coffee machine. (the machine is US99, shipping is estimated to be about $70)
But I still want it. And I know that my mum will enjoy it because she drinks A LOT of coffee. Like 2-3 cups a day. And hence, I went to visit my good friend aka Ebay:
This is only selling at US$39.99 including free shipping to Singapore. Although the seller claimed that it is in original packaging, I still think it is a fake one. But as my mum rationalised, no matter if the machine is a fake one because what matters is the k-cups (the mini cups to make your drink) and that the machine operates.
I have just purchased this on Ebay (like 15mins ago) and I will be ordering the K-cups from their official website. I am confirm getting:

Anyway, I should stop here because It's 2.25am and I need to wake up at 6.45am tmr! Talk to u guys soon, stay happy and enjoy your short working week! =D

The good thing about working as an auditor is...
Random photos taken from my work place:
Singapore Flyer!
Buildings with red tops!
I'm currently working an engagement for one of the companies that are located at Suntec City Mall. The good thing about working there is this magnificent view outside the windows (they gave us a very nice room to audit in). And because Suntec City Mall has my favourite Gong-Cha and Hans, I found myself with a lot of good food nearby.
The bad? OT, OT and lots of OT. Even when I put my speed at 120%, I still can't seem to complete the work in time. No wonder auditors are known to work OT all the time. BUT, I should be grateful because my next engagement is for a company that is located in Tuas, the super wulu and difficult to find food place T_T
Shall upload a sale post tmr if I can, tired ttm =x

Korres & Milani! Arrival of goods on 12 Dec 2011!
So, after a long day at work, I came home to some DHL shipments. I love it whenever I receive new shipments. It's like I'm hauling for myself yet it is justifiable to do so as I need the goods for my blogshop ;D
Anyway, I cut open a shipment and I literally went "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?" and went O_o when I saw this:
After digging through all the white shred papers, I saw:

It's my Korres gift sets! =D
The k-po me went to the actual Korres outlet in Singapore to investigate the price (hey! it's called market research!) and as the lip butter glaze is a new product, they do not have it in stock yet. The Korres lip butter (in tub) cost about S$20+ alone.
Ok Korres, as much as I love you, but why do you pack it in such a big box with all the paper? Now my shipping cost higher! *Humph*
Anyway, Korres is such a considerate company and you can really see that they are really focused on their skincare products. They gave me 3 free samples and also gave me a copy of their ingredients list! Some samples don't have their ingredients written on them (because they are so small) so Korres give you a separate copy in A4 size so you can look out for any ingredients that may be irritant to you before using them. And this is just for three small packets of sample! Ok Korres, you are forgiven for the big box & high shipping rates now!
Below is a photo of the ingredients list. Don't worry if you can't see it because you are not supposed to =D
I heard that the Milani HD concealer is a dupe for the YSL super duper expensive one so bought some to try out and some to sell
The highly raved about eyeliners and so many people ask me to bring in too. I'm so sorry for jumping into the bandwagon so late, BUT, IT'S FINALLY HERE!
And the blush that everyone enquired about during flea market: Milani Luminoso!
And something to say, I'm currently on an audit engagement at a client's place which is located at Suntec Tower 4 so meetups will now be changed to City Hall MRT instead. And I''m expecting a lot of OTs so please forgive me if my timings aren't very flexible k? I'm SO SO SO SORRY! =(
Ok, shall blog when I can! Now going to sleep so tmr I can look at more numbers LOL
